1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing cityeventguides.com or visiting our physical establishment at Mannerheimintie 14 in Helsinki, Finland, you agree to comply with these Terms & Conditions. These terms apply to all restaurant guests, card lounge participants, event attendees, and website users.

2. Offline Physical Venue Statement

CityEventGuides operates exclusively as a brick-and-mortar physical establishment. Our services consist of wood-fired dining, sommelier wine tastings, and an offline, physical 18+ recreational card room. This website does not offer digital gambling, real-money online casino games, or remote gaming operations.

Important Notice on Physical Venue Scope

All activities, wine flights, and recreational poker sessions occur physically in person at our venue in Helsinki under strict Finnish commercial and hospitality regulations.

3. Table Reservations & Cancellation Policy

Table reservations for our bistro dining room and card lounge are subject to the following rules:

  • Arrival Grace Period: Reserved tables will be held for 15 minutes past the scheduled booking time before being made available to waitlisted guests.
  • Cancellations & Modifications: We request that cancellations or adjustments to party sizes be submitted at least 4 hours prior to your reservation time via telephone (+358 9 123 4567) or email.
  • Large Group & Private Rentals: Private salon or card lounge bookings requiring custom food and wine catering require a 24-hour advance notice for modifications.

4. 18+ Private Card Lounge Regulations

Access to our private card lounge is governed by strict age and conduct rules:

  1. Age Verification: Entry to the card lounge is strictly restricted to individuals aged 18 years or older. Our door staff reserves the right to request valid government-issued photo identification (passport, Finnish identity card, or driver's license).
  2. Tactile & Screen-Free Atmosphere: To maintain an authentic offline social setting, guests are asked to minimize mobile device usage while seated at active card tables.
  3. Respectful Player Conduct: Aggressive behavior, abusive language, or unsportsmanlike conduct will result in immediate revocation of room privileges without refund.

5. Alcohol Service & Guest Safety

As a responsible licensed establishment under Finnish alcohol legislation (Alkoholilaki 1102/2017), CityEventGuides enforces strict alcohol service protocols. Our staff reserves the absolute right to refuse alcohol service to any individual exhibiting signs of intoxication or disruptive behavior.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on cityeventguides.com, including text, photographs, vector graphics, menu descriptions, logos, and brand emblems, is the exclusive intellectual property of CityEventGuides Oy and protected by Finnish and international copyright laws.

7. Limitation of Liability

CityEventGuides Oy shall not be held liable for personal belongings brought onto the premises, nor for indirect technical disruptions affecting our website reservation software. Our maximum liability for any booking dispute is limited to the direct value of services rendered.

8. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Finland. Any legal disputes arising in connection with our venue or services shall fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the District Court of Helsinki (Helsingin käräjäoikeus).
